By using TheHobbyDesk ("TheHobbyDesk," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The service
TheHobbyDesk is a card-pricing and collection-tracking workspace. It displays guide values and grade comparisons from third-party pricing data, provides links to eBay listings, and lets you track a personal card collection locally in your browser.
Not financial or appraisal advice
Prices, guide values, and grade ladders shown on TheHobbyDesk are informational estimates only - not appraisals, offers to buy or sell, or financial or investment advice. See our Disclaimer for details. Always do your own research before buying, selling, or grading a card.
Your collection data
Collection data you add is stored locally in your browser and is yours. We don't claim ownership over it, and - since it isn't stored on our servers - we can't recover it if it's lost (e.g. cleared browser data, new device). Back up anything important.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse the site to overload or abuse our servers or third-party APIs; scrape or bulk-extract data beyond normal browsing; attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls; or use the site for unlawful purposes.
Third-party content & trademarks
Card images, pricing data, and marketplace links are provided by third parties (PriceCharting, CardSight AI, eBay) and remain their respective owners' property. TheHobbyDesk is not affiliated with PriceCharting, eBay, PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC, Topps, Panini, Upper Deck, The Pokemon Company, or any card manufacturer. All trademarks and card imagery remain the property of their respective owners.
No warranty
TheHobbyDesk is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that pricing data will be accurate, complete, or current.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheHobbyDesk and its operators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including decisions made based on guide values shown here.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
